Big and small, plain and snazzy, sukkot made their debut on decks, lawns and driveways around the state. Sukkot call to mind the temporary shelters Jews lived in while they wandered in the desert for 40 years. Here is a sampling of holiday huts at area homes, synagogues and other Jewish centers.
