Chestnut Hill Jews outraged at Star Market, rabbi asserts

As redesigned store takes shape, Butcherie looks to expand

Outside of Brookline, few grocery markets in the Greater Boston area offer fully kosher shopping. So when Chestnut Hill residents heard about a possible kosher butcher and baker planned for the new Star Market on Route 9, community excitement grew. But those hopes were dampened this week with the announcement that a kosher butcher is no longer in the works.
