Genealogy lecture NEWTON CENTRE — The second annual Genealogy Lecture, co-sponsored by Hebrew College and the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Boston, will feature Omer Bartov, an international authority on genocide, speaking on "Erased: Vanishing Traces of Jewish Galicia," beginning at 3 p.m. at Berenson Hall at Hebrew College. Swimming program STOUGHTON — Registration for the Striar J.C.C.'s Masters Swimming Program for adults of all aquatic fitness levels begins on Dec. 15. The program, which begins in January, runs Sundays from 1:30-2:30 p.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m., Wednesdays 7-8 p.m. and 8-9 p.m. and Fridays 5:30-6:30 a.m. and 6:30-7:30 a.m. Choose the day and time that best fits your schedule.
