Controversial mosque opens despite protest

The Islamic Society of Boston's Roxbury mosque recently held its grand opening amid protests from activists, including Charles Jacobs, president of Americans for Peace & Tolerance. The activists criticized the mosque, pointing to extremist ties within its leadership. Although a few Jewish clergy were present, representives from Jewish organizations opted not to attend.
