Rabbi Rocketpower gets kids charged up for Pesach

Burlington rabbi makes holidays an adventure

While other children growing up in the 1960s turned to comic books for the latest adventures of their favorite superheroes, Susan Abramson looked to the bimah of her synagogue. “I viewed my rabbi as a superhero,” said Abramson. “He was larger than life. He was a writer. He was outspoken about the Vietnam War. He was active in politics.”
