A half century later, Yarrow is still singing for the kids

The young Israeli woman at the West Bank border crossing didn’t know what to make of the balding, bearded man with the guitar case. She was suspicious and scared.
But then Peter Yarrow of the legendary folk trio Peter, Paul, and Mary opened the case, took out his guitar and began singing “Erev Shel Shoshanim,” the beloved Hebrew folk song.
