A Fictional Pesach Tale: Elijah the Cat
Our cat’s name was Elijah. I know it sounds like a funny name for a cat, but there was a good reason for it. We met Elijah on the first night of Passover, in the middle of the seder. There we were, ready to read from the Hagaddah. My little sister was sent to open the door for Elijah the Prophet, but instead of the Prophet, in came a cat.
