Surprised by rabbi’s remarks

The letter from Rabbi Kushner, someone whom I have always greatly admired for his uplifting writings, came as a challenge to me and my fellow activists in J Street. We are over 160,000 supporters strong. When we criticize specific policies of the Israeli government, it is out of love and hope for a peaceful future, not shame or hatred.
