Palestinian aid pushed through

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton overruled a hold by House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairwoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.) on Palestinian aid, allowing $147 million to flow to the West Bank and Gaza. The aid package is expected to move forward even though it is not typical for the US to release funding if any relevant committee lawmakers object.
