Take a culinary vacation to Greece
When I went to Israel many years ago, several of my friends took a side trip to Mykonos, Greece. I had wanted to go to Greece since I had painstakingly drawn Greek columns to perfect scale on pieces of cardboard 3- feet high. I was in the 5th grade, and something about those Ancient Greeks and their Doric, Ionic and Corinthian columns struck a chord. The full version of this story is only available to online subscribers.
