A dotty dad’s heart woes – figurative and literal
The French comedy “The Day I Saw Your Heart” has only the most tangential Jewish content, and it could be removed without seriously altering the film. One suspects that the reason Eli Dhrey (Michel Blanc) is identified as Jewish is that it makes him more of a “character.”
